Okayama's Hanzaki Festival Yubara Onsen Festival
Yubara's summer tradition『Hanzaki Festival”
The eve festival is held on August 7th and the main festival is held on August 8th every year!
What is Hanzaki?,The giant salamander is a national special natural monument.
This is an annual event at Yubara Onsen that is said to be Okayama's strange festival!
The festival also features a float depicting a Hanzaki scallop, street music, and Hanzaki Nebuta.
Yubara Onsen is Hanzaki transformed by the colors of the Hanzaki fish.

【8/8 Festival】
Led by Hanzaki Dashi Taro, the Hayashi float, the processional Hayashi dance group, and Hanzaki Dashi Hanako parade through the hot spring town.
In the latter half of the festival, the golden, shining "Hanzaki Nebuta" float will also make an appearance.
At the festival plaza, there will be a song show and a fireworks display at the climax.

Registered June 26th as June 26th Open-air Bath Day with the Japan Anniversary Association.
As the birthplace of Open-air Bath Day, a ritual is held every year to express gratitude for the hot springs.
We will also hold an event at the same time.

We are running a "Manico Inn" points giveaway campaign for guests who rent a car and stay at our hotel.
This applies to overnight trips using rental cars to Maniwa City and Shinjo Village.
We will give you points for Maniwa City's local currency, "Manicoin".
Please use this as a means of transportation to Maniwa area.
The details of the campaign are as follows:

② Use of a rental car during the trip
③ Download and set up the "Manicoin app".
2. Target period: Return date March 31, 2027(Until the end of the event)*Ends as soon as budget limit is reached
3. Grant Amount: Mani Points equivalent to 3,000 yen per rental car
(Points can be used at participating businesses at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen.)
4. Usage Limit: Up to one use per person per month.

①Open-air bath(Sunayu)
This famous hot spring was selected as the "Yokozuna of the West" (grand champion) in the nationwide ranking of open-air baths.
There are three baths with different temperatures, all of which are mixed baths.
② Yubara Fureai Exchange Center(Yumoto Onsen-kan)
Including men's and women's bathrooms (hot springs), relaxation, socializing, and rest spaces,
This is a complex with a variety of local souvenirs.
③ Yakushi(Onsen Yakushido)
Praying to Yakushi Nyorai (the Medicine Buddha) enhances the effects of the medicinal bath.
④ Spinning Top Museum
A collection of over 3,000 tops of 1,600 types collected from Japan and overseas.
You can also try it out at the adjacent workshop.
④ Hanzaki Center
This section introduces the ecology and breeding practices of Hanzaki salamander (Hanzaki).
⑤ Shimoyubara Onsen Himawarikan
Shimoyubara Onsen has separate open-air baths for men and women.
There is also a clean bath for pets, which is very popular.
Himawarikan sells local specialty products and souvenirs.
